New Patients

Welcome.
Here's what to expect.

Whether you're booking a cleaning or a smile makeover — what's actually going to happen, what it costs, and how we handle insurance.

Your first visit

Unhurried.
Doctor-led.

You'll spend the first appointment one-on-one with Dr. Warren — not a hygienist, not an associate. She'll listen first, then take photos, digital X-rays, and a comprehensive exam. New-patient visits are 60–75 minutes. We don't double-book.

Insurance & Financing

Straight answers
about the money.

We're a fee-for-service practice — not contracted with any insurance carrier. That lets us spend the time and use the materials that contracted offices can't. It doesn't mean you can't use your insurance.

Technology

The equipment we
actually use every day.

Dr. Warren reinvests in the practice every year. Here's what's behind the chair.

CEREC milling unit · operatory equipment · clean studio lighting

CEREC same-day system

Scanner, design software, milling unit. Powers our same-day veneers and crowns.

Digital X-ray

90% less radiation than film. Instant results on the operatory screen.

Intra-oral camera

A pen-sized camera that puts what we see on the chairside monitor.

Soft-tissue laser

Gum recontouring with less bleeding, faster healing, no scalpel.

Nitrous oxide

Laughing gas. Wakeful, alert, just calmer. Wears off in minutes.

OralDNA salivary testing

Identifies the bacterial profile driving your gum disease — targeted, not guessed.

Common questions

Things people ask before
their first visit.

Do you take my insurance?
We're out-of-network with all insurance carriers. That said, our treatment coordinator files your claims as an out-of-network provider — most PPO patients get back a substantial portion of their treatment cost. Bring your card to your first visit and we'll verify your benefits.
How much will my first visit cost?
A new-patient comprehensive exam, X-rays, and cleaning typically runs $250–$450 depending on the complexity of what we find. We'll give you a written estimate before any work begins.
I haven't been to the dentist in years. Will you judge me?
No. Dr. Warren has heard every reason and seen every situation. The first visit is a conversation, not an inspection — we'll find a plan that fits where you are now, not where you "should" have been.
Can I bring my child?
Yes. We treat ages 3 and up. For very young children, we recommend a meet-and-greet visit first so they can get comfortable in the chair without any work being done.
Do you offer sedation?
We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) in-office, which is sufficient for the vast majority of anxious patients. For significant anxiety or longer procedures, we can refer you to a colleague who offers IV sedation.
What if I have a dental emergency?
Call us first — (404) 477-3060. We hold same-day slots for established patients and triage new-patient emergencies by phone. For knocked-out teeth, time matters; call as soon as you can.
